Has anyone installed an optional mini SD card, and if so what size did you install and how can you use the additional storage.

Thanks for the feedback, I don't see anything in the documentation regarding the
maximum size or how the addition storage can be used.

I received my maxisys a few days ago and have been testing all of the features, so far
I've been able to get everything to work. I don't really understand the recording
function. It seems to only save data points about every 5 or 6 seconds. If I use the
eobd then it records faster about every 1/2 to 1 second.

I installed a 32 GB sd card and it works.  As for the recording function I got the same thing you were talking about.

I'm going to pickup a 32 GB card next time I'm at Fry's.

On the 2004 Tahoe 4.8L I'm testing I have the choice on the Data Display of selecting engine1, engine2 or fuel system.  By selecting fuel system it records a lot faster, I'm assuming it is because it has a lot less items.  Also using the USB cable helps as well.

I got a response from tech support and they said they tested it with a 16 gig SD card but the specs show it should handle a 32 SD card.

32Gig Cards are the norm for devices now days..
I'm sure if demand is high Autel can do an update to also allow 64Gig Cards work as
    well.
Super easy to configure that within and Android device.. Yet Autel may have to update
the OS from 4.0 to a newer OS such as 4.3 or even the newest Kitkat 4.4..

Wonder if a newer OS update would allow downloads like google play on a regular tablet? Would sure be nice...I love my Autel though and is becoming my go to as my Verdict seems to blue screen a lot lately!!
